Let’s talk about Alicia Wood.

In a sentence:  She’s the fashion designer behind the label Ms. Wood.

Although you probably already know that.  How can you not?  She’s everywhere.  A Portland success story.  She and her husband Ben Wood (who crafts all of the Ms. Wood wooden accessories and platform shoes), are an undeniable force in our city’s ever-growing fashion scene.  Ms. Wood, in the last year, has been featured in seemingly every magazine, blog, and newspaper around town, recently spotted hanging with the most stylish pets in PDX at Boutiques Unleashed, featured all over etsy.com, and her ubiquitous platforms were just paired with Seth Aaron’s new Ready-to-Wear line at LA Fashion Week.  As if that wasn’t enough, rumor has it one of the PFW 2010 Makeup artists is now touring with the Royal Badness himself, Prince (yes the Prince).  And she has spread the stylish Ms. Wood word to his backup singers who are now bonkers for Alicia’s wearables.
