Intel Brings Technology and Fashion Together at Portland Fashion Week

Intel brought along their “Retail Interactive Fashion Experience” to Portland Fashion Week 2011 to demonstrate how functional design, technology and the industry are evolving. Intel’s exhibit featured a giant 85-inch multi-touch screen running the latest technology and designed with the retail shopper in mind. It was an oversized tablet display that was showcased as a department store dressing room mirror, but interactive.

Intel designed an  in-store shopping experience that enabled shoppers to access thousands of items, combine them into outfits, share them with friends, purchase and even call for assistance.
